• I am an environmental professional in Richmond, Virginia with a creative background spanning drone photography and multimedia production. I love capturing the beauty of nature, dramatic landscapes, and stunning architecture from a unique perspective, which melds with my passions for both conservation and design.

I have worked for commercial solar developer Secure Solar Futures since graduating from University of Richmond in 2020. Starting this fall, I am excited to be switching gears and pursuing a Master of Environmental Science degree at Yale School of the Environment, where I will be conducting energy and climate-related research with Dr. Narasimha Rao.

In addition to spending a lot of time in nature, I grew up with many different nerdy interests, including tinkering with toy RC helicopters and exploring perspective and color in visual art forms. These interests have since been further developed through creative outlets such as aerial photography, graphic design, and GIS mapping.

Through my personal and professional advocacy, I have strong passions for issues surrounding sustainability and justice. This includes my current work in renewable energy with future endeavors to build a career in environmental and climate justice, as well as my advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights and socioeconomic equity.

About Me

I am a graduate student at Yale School of the Environment (YSE) currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Science degree with focuses in renewable and clean energy transitions, climate change resilience, and environmental justice.

In addition to coursework, I build on multiple years of experience in the solar industry, conducting my thesis research on district energy system decarbonization under the advisement of Dr. Narasimha Rao, who is an expert in equitable global energy transitions. As a fellow with the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Sustainability Initiative (JEDSI) at YSE, I also contribute to data analysis, visualization, and GIS mapping for numerous research projects under the direction of world-renowned environmental justice scholar Dr. Dorceta Taylor.

Outside of professional pursuits, my creative and nerdy background spans multimedia production, aerial photography, and learning about (and tinkering with) all sorts of tech. I love capturing natural beauty, dramatic landscapes, and stunning architecture from a unique perspective, which melds with my passions for both conservation and design.

Through my personal and professional advocacy, I have strong passions for issues surrounding sustainability and justice. This includes my current interdisciplinary academic work, future endeavors building a career in environmental and climate justice, as well as my advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights and socioeconomic equity.
